The founder of PeaceTrust, Carolyn Holleran, is asking women to make a commitment of $500 annually for 5 years to support the work of Safe Berks.
Hundreds of women have already answered her call.
This group of dedicated women also become our most staunch community advocates.
Two annual events, held exclusively for PeaceTrust members, provide an intimate look at the work that Safe Berks does,
and help to educate PeaceTrust members to be our voice in the community.
Safe Berks, formerly Berks Women in Crisis, was founded in 1976. Our services include a Safe House for adults and children who are in danger, a 24-hour Hotline, individual and group counseling, legal services and advocacy, and educational programs. Our services are free, completely confidential, and available in English and Spanish. We are incredibly grateful to our generous donors who make this work possible.
